How To Clean Stainless Coffee Pot And Make Your Friends Envious

We all love our coffee and there is nothing more authentic than boiling up some Java in a genuine stainless steel coffee pot. The only downer is that these nifty pots can get a little marked and shabby after a few uses. Further, your coffee will taste much better in a clean pot! Let’s take your little gem on a trip to get it looking like new again.

Cleaning Method One

What you need:

  • 1 cup Baking Soda
  • Warm Water
  • ½ cup Hydrogen Peroxide
  • 1-5L-Stainless-Steel-Double-Wall-Thermal-font-b-Carafe-b-font-Vacuum-Insulated-font-bScrubbing brush (use the softer kind or you will scratch and mark your pot)

Instructions:

  1. First pop the baking soda into kettle with the warm water.
  2. Give it a good scrub
  3. If there are still stains, use the Hydrogen Peroxide and a further 2 tablespoons baking soda
  4. Let sit for 30 minutes
  5. Empty out and then pour hot water inside the pot
  6. Clean as usual with detergent and hot water

Cleaning Method Two

  • Dishwashing Pod
  • Boiling Water

Instructions:

  1. Pop the dish washing tablet into the kettle along with boiling water
  2. Swirl around a bit
  3. Then let it sit for 30 minutes
  4. Pour out and rinse thoroughly

Cleaning Method Three

What you need:

  • A few Ice Cubes
  • ½ cup Vinegar
  • Teaspoon Salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix all of the above into the kettle
  2. Swirl around a bit to cover all the sides
  3. Let it sit till the ice melts
  4. Rinse thoroughly

Cleaning Method Four

What you need:

  • Commercial-Grade Espresso Cleaner (The espresso cleaner pods can be found at most supermarkets or specific coffee stores)
  • Water

Instructions:

  1. Let the mixture sit for an hour
  2. Rinse thoroughly

Cleaning Method Five

What you need:denture-cleaner

  • Denture Cleaning Tablets (Yes, you heard right)
  • Ask at your local dentist or pharmacy for the denture cleaning tablets as they work a charm on stainless steel and are safe.

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve the tablets in hot water and let the pot sit over night
  2. Rinse thoroughly

Cleaning Method Six

What you need:

  • Clorox Bleach and Hot Water
  • Half a cup of Clorox

Instructions:

  1. Fill up with hot water
  2. Let sit for 30 minutes
  3. Pour out mixture
  4. Rinse thoroughly
